Hillsborough County, Florida
In an open RFP process Hillsborough County, Florida Hillsborough County has selected Early Mornings Software’s Prism Compliance Management system. The Counties key reasons for the selection were the Early Morning’s proven implementation methodology and depth of management consulting. It was critical to the County to get the implementation done quickly while getting the best advise at each stage of the process so that they could configure Prism to support the goals of the Counties disparity study. Additionally the County is relying on Early Mornings commitment to help save money in gathering information when the disparity study is renewed.
The County’s MBE/WBE and SBE statues and programs promote the concept of graduation, which Prism will facilitate by allowing the Counties limited personnel to spend less time simply gathering information and more time analyzing how the County can facilitate the growth of its certified vendors.
Recent Wins…University of Maryland Medical System UMMS
The University of Maryland Medical System UMMS has selected Early Mornings Software’s Prism Compliance Management system to further its goals of minority business inclusion. Prism will enable UMMS to have a supplier base capable of sourcing goods and services required by its eight hospitals. Prism will facilitate outreach and business development events within the Maryland region to introduce the UMMS supplier diversity program, and attract minority and women owned businesses to opportunities available throughout the UMMS system. This outreach is critical because of the nature of UMMS purchases and contracts from specialized suppliers within hospital and medical industry.
In line with the management practice of what gets tracked gets done. Prism will enable UMMS to identify its expenditures with certified minority and women owned business enterprises. In accounting for its expenditures with the M/WBE community, UMMS has decided to report spend with vendors holding minority certification from federal state, and local governments, as well as other certifying organizations such as National Supplier Development Councils and Women Business Enterprise National Council. The PRISM solution will enable UMMS to meet and exceed these objectives.
